Pr. Georges Officer Arrested and Suspended After Punching Sheriff’s Deputies

A Prince George’s County police officer has been suspended with pay after he was arrested in Charles County early Tuesday and charged with second-degree assault.

According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Officer Charles Williams Jr. called the sheriff’s office at his home in Waldorf “in reference to a situation.” Prince George’s police said in a news release that the 1 a.m. call was about a domestic dispute.
