STORM WARNING WEATHER MODE tonight through Monday afternoon | Local News

Tonight we are in STORM WARNING mode.

We’ll see severe weather again starting at 2 a.m. EDT tonight and continuing through Monday afternoon. A STORM WARNING is in effect Monday. All three dangers are in play: damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes. Torrential rain is expected, so flooding is also likely. Rainfall totals will be between half an inch and an inch through Monday evening.

A flood warning is in effect for both Van Buren and Grundy counties until Monday, 7:00 a.m. CDT / 8:00 a.m. EDT. Be careful not to drive through unknown water depths and instead turn around.

Current 7-day forecast

From Tuesday onwards the weather will be nicer again. Maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 25 degrees Celsius, minimum temperatures between 15 and 15 degrees Celsius. The sun will also shine more again.

We will continue to keep you updated with the latest forecasts. Thank you and keep an eye on the weather.
