MAYES COUNTY, Oklahoma. –

Two people died and several were injured after severe weather swept through the state overnight Saturday, Mayes County officials confirmed.

At least five people were injured near the west side of Pryor between the county and city lines, officials said.

Search and rescue teams will meet again Sunday morning to continue their efforts.

The American Red Cross has opened evacuation centers for people affected by severe weather.
