2 teenagers shot, 1 killed on Saturday

A 17-year-old boy was killed in a shooting that left another teenager injured Saturday afternoon, according to Baltimore police. Police said they received a ShotSpotter alert for shots fired in the 900 block of North Dukeland Street just before 4 p.m. Officers found a 17-year-old boy fatally shot before locating a second victim, a 15-year-old boy who had also been shot. “My grandson was one of the victims that was shot,” said Maria Lennon, the 15-year-old victim’s grandmother. “It’s time for this to stop. We as a people need to come together to try to save these kids because they keep killing each other. These babies keep dying.” The 17-year-old died in the hospital, and the 15-year-old victim is being treated for his injury, according to police. No arrests have been announced.
