Pueblo County man arrested Thursday for alleged sexual abuse of a child

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colorado – A Pueblo County man is being held on $100,000 bail after being charged with sexual abuse of a child. The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office said detectives arrested 47-year-old Lonnie Martin Thursday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, Martin is also charged with child sexual abuse and enticement of minors to commit crimes as a confidant.

It is currently unclear which of Martin’s professional areas earned him this position of trust.

Colorado Springs School District 11 graduates graduated Tuesday, becoming the first graduating class to walk into Colorado College’s Ed Robson Arena. One student graduated from Pikes Peak State College with over 60 college credits and now has a full scholarship to Yale.
