Hardin woman arrested in Murray on multiple drug and drug trafficking charges | News

MURRAY, Ky. – A Murray Police Department officer arrested a woman on drug trafficking charges Friday after reportedly finding several illegal substances.

A news release from the Murray Police Department said an officer initiated a traffic stop on the north side of the city at 4:34 a.m. Friday, May 10. After a search of the vehicle, Jayme Wood, 34, of Hardin, was arrested for speeding 15 miles per hour; third-degree possession of a controlled substance; First Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, First Offense; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and prescription substance not in the correct container.

Wood was taken to the Calloway County Jail.
