Nassau police are investigating the shooting incident in Manhasset

Nassau police responded to reports of a shooting Friday evening near Pond Hill Road in Manhasset.

Investigators said officers arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m. and found a scattered shell casing on the ground.

No one was injured in the incident. According to authorities, the man responsible for the shooting fled the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
