15-year-old girl raped and found with hands and legs tied in Bareilly of UP; 3 accused escape

Police here want to arrest three people, including a woman, on suspicion of gang-raping a 15-year-old girl, officials said. The minor girl went missing from her home on Thursday evening and on Friday she was found under a tractor-trailer with her hands and legs tied behind her back.

“The family members of the minor in the police complaint have alleged that a woman from the village made the girl talk to a man on phone on Thursday evening.

“The man, also a resident of the area, called the minor to a secluded place where he and another man gang-raped him,” said Gaurav Singh, district officer.

Later, the duo allegedly tied the girl’s hands and legs and fled the spot. When family members found the girl on Friday afternoon, she told them about her ordeal, they said.

“Based on the police complaint, we have lodged an FIR of gang rape in this matter. The minor identified the woman and one of the male defendants. Efforts are on to identify the third accused and arrest the trio, the CO said.
