One dead in shooting outside bar in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) – One person was killed in a shooting outside a bar in Visalia early Sunday morning.

Visalia police responded to calls about a shooting at Downtown Rookies Sports Bar and Grill on Main Street around 1:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a person with a gunshot wound who later died from his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and there is currently no information about a suspect.

Action News reached out to Rookies Sports Bar and Grill, but the business declined to comment. It reopened at 11 a.m. Sunday.
