Sentenced for sex offences: Two convicts receive life sentences for sex offences | News from Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Of the 12 accused convicted of sexual offences this year, two were sentenced to life imprisonment. The Women Safety Wing officials said in a press release that as per the Supreme Court guidelines, a special task force has been set up to monitor the sexual offences cases. Giving details of the cases that resulted in conviction, the officials said that one person was sentenced to more than 25 years imprisonment, five persons to 20 years, one person to 5 years and three persons to community service. tnn

The accident occurred when a high-speed train derailed near Santiago de Compostela. Both the defendants and the companies involved must pay 25 million euros in compensation to the families of the victims.
