Police say investigation continues after handgun found in Troy

TROY, NY (WRGB) — Troy Police are investigating a report of a man with a handgun in the area of ​​4th Street between Ida Street and Jefferson Street, Troy, on Friday, July 26, 2024.

Police said they found a loaded handgun in the rear of a 4th Street apartment building and took a man into custody.

Police said officers would begin clearing the area shortly and that investigations were ongoing.
