ATLANTA — Rain soaked Truist Park during the Braves’ first home game after the All-Star break.

Tuesday night’s game against the Reds was postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Wednesday. Game 1 is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. ET and Game 2 is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.

Chris Sale, who was scheduled to start Tuesday’s game, will now start the night game and Allan Winans will be recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to start Game 1 Wednesday.

Cincinnati expects Frankie Montas to start the opener, as expected. Nick Martinez, who was expected to start Tuesday, will get the ball for the second game.

This will be the second home doubleheader for the Braves. Atlanta’s game against the Cardinals on Friday was postponed due to weather and made up as a split doubleheader the following day.
