Projecting Greg Rousseau’s 2024 Buffalo Bills Stats

As we continue our player projections, we now look at Buffalo Bills defensive end Greg Rousseau. The Bills’ 2021 first-round pick has become a key factor on this defense over the last three years. He racked up 129 total tackles with 17 sacks while learning from veterans like Von Miller and Leonard Floyd. Coming out of the University of Miami, Rousseau had high talent potential but didn’t have a large sample size of production as he only played one year in college. However, he did manage to rack up 15.5 sacks that season. The Bills were able to get Rousseau at No. 30 overall and are looking to develop him into their next great pass rusher.

Rousseau impressed the coaching staff and management so much that the fifth-year option on his rookie contract was picked up, meaning he will be a member of the Bills for at least two more seasons. Bills fans should expect to see news within the next year of Rousseau signing a contract extension with the Bills.

While Rousseau hasn’t become a star player, he’s a solid player who can create inside and outside pressure against the pass. Plus, his run support has become more valuable each season.

Now that Floyd is gone from Buffalo, Rousseau will have some pressure to become the sack leader for this defense. He hasn’t reached double digits in sacks yet, but as long as he stays on the field, there’s a good chance he will. He’s about to get paid big bucks and the players are still at their best.

It’s time for Rousseau to have his breakthrough season. As long as he doesn’t get injured, Rousseau is a Bill fans can look forward to in 2024.
