SAPD investigates after dead man found on East Side Street

The body was reported by someone driving past the location.

SAN ANTONIO – Police are investigating after finding a man dead on an east San Antonio street late Wednesday night.

Officials said the man was found lying on Ackerman Road near I-10 around 9:45 p.m. by a person driving by.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Few details are available at this time, but police do not believe he was hit by a car.

His identity has not been released, but police say he is middle-aged.
