Fort Sam Houston warns of early morning cannon fire this Friday

SAN ANTONIO – Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston is warning nearby residents of a planned cannon launch early Friday morning.

Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston is hosting a planned event involving cannon fire, scheduled for 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. Friday.

The fire was part of a controlled and planned exercise, with authorities saying there was no cause for alarm.
