Early morning work zone accident under investigation, Maryland State Police say

An early Monday morning crash on the outer loop of I-695 is under investigation, Maryland State Police said. The three-vehicle crash occurred after a driver rear-ended a stationary dump truck in a construction zone, according to a preliminary investigation. Dates’ car struck another car. The driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital, the news release said. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to a hospital.

CATONSVILLE, Maryland —

An accident early Monday morning on the outer loop of I-695 is under investigation, Maryland State Police said.

The three-vehicle accident occurred after a driver drove into a stationary dump truck in a construction zone, according to preliminary investigations. Dates’ car collided with another car. The driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital, the press release said.

The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to a hospital.
