Another wet week with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – There is a chance of scattered rain tonight, and tomorrow will remain humid with showers and a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

TONIGHT

Temperatures tonight will be above 25 degrees on the beaches and inland. Rain chances will be low tonight as most of the activity will be west of us. We’ll still be a bit humid tonight and this trend will continue throughout the week.

Mostly cloudy tonight.

MORNING

Tomorrow morning we will start the day with temperatures around 25 degrees and there could be isolated rain showers. The probability of rain and thunderstorms will increase during the afternoon and into the early evening. Not everyone will see rain tomorrow, there will be isolated thunderstorms, but heavy downpours and thunderstorms are to be expected.

Temperatures on the beaches will be between 30 and 35 degrees and inland between 35 and 35 degrees. It will still be hot and humid, but not as bad as the weekend. With the southerly wind, temperatures will be between 35 and 35 degrees.

If you’re planning outdoor activities tomorrow, it’s still a great day to do so despite the chance of showers. If you get caught in the showers, they can cool you down.

REST OF THE WEEK

Unfortunately, the heat and humidity will not let up all week. We warn you about another muggy week where the heat index will continue to be in the triple digits. We will be miserable by midweek and you will want to make sure you stay hydrated and take breaks from long periods outdoors.
