Edmond kidnapping suspect arrested in Dallas

DALLAS, Texas (KFOR) – Dallas police officers have arrested a man wanted in connection with a kidnapping in Edmond in June.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office tells News 4 that Kadarryus Caples was arrested in Dallas on Friday. Caples, along with two other suspects, is accused of kidnapping an Edmond woman on June 14 and stealing $250,000 in cash from her.

The OCSO said they identified Caples as a suspect in the kidnapping after finding a rental car allegedly used during the crime. The car had reportedly been rented to Caples’ girlfriend.

A social media post allegedly showing Caples with a gun and a large amount of cash in his hand also helped the OCSO link him to the crime.
