Fairfield police are issuing an alert after a skimming device was reportedly found at an ATM in the city.

Police said the skimming device was found at the Mobil gas station ATM on Stratfield Road on Monday.

An ATM repair technician found the device.

It is unclear when the device was placed there.

Anyone who used the ATM should check their bank statements to see if any unauthorized withdrawals were made.

If you notice suspicious activity on your bank account, you should contact the bank and request a replacement card.
