“Sexual predator”: US pastor arrested after police found pictures of him raping a two-year-old child; police chief calls him “monster”

In a disturbing incident in the United States, a Florida pastor was arrested after police discovered images showing the rape of a two-year-old child. The accused pastor was identified as Jonathan Elwing, 43. He was charged with a dozen serious crimes after police made a disturbing discovery. Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells said Elwing went to church claiming to be a man of God. “But in reality, he is nothing more than a liar and sex offender,” he added. Elwing is also reported to have used cryptocurrency to purchase disturbing material online. His purchase prompted police to obtain a search warrant where they found disturbing images on his mobile phone, including images of him “in action” with a child.
