Greens Road shooting: One person shot, one dead after altercation with man at Pinewood Apartments in northeast Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man is dead after a shooting during an altercation with another man at a northeast Houston apartment complex Saturday night.

Officers responded to the shooting at the Pinewood Apartments in the 5900 block of Greens Road around 9:53 p.m.

According to Houston police, two black men got into an argument before one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other, killing him. The suspect fled.

The suspect’s description and location are currently unknown.
