Two men found dead in Bear Creek Lake

Two men who were reported missing Thursday afternoon were found dead in Bear Creek Lake near Marianna on Friday afternoon, according to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Commission spokesman Keith Stephens said the circumstances of the deaths were unknown and authorities were working to notify next of kin. The men, whose names were not released Saturday, were aged 28 and 51, he said.

“As far as we know, it was father and son,” Stephens said.
