Jamestown woman sentenced for role in drug trafficking operation

A Jamestown woman was sentenced to two years in prison for her role in a drug trafficking operation, U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced.

Tracey Wynn, 42, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara following her conviction for conspiracy with intent to distribute and distribution of 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Prosecutors said Wynn sold methamphetamine supplied by Jamestown drug dealer Douglas Beardsley between September 2018 and January and sold the drugs to an undercover agent four times.

Prosecutors said Wynn was also found with a bag of marijuana and plastic bags containing methamphetamine during a search in October 2019 after she was stopped by Jamestown police for a traffic violation.

Judge Arcara sentenced Beardsley, 39, to 14 years and eight months in prison on drug and gun charges in June 2023.
