2 Cold Scorpio arrested after stabbing, claims self-defense

Charles Scaggs, better known to wrestling fans as 2 Cold Scorpio, was arrested.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, he was charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He is currently free on bail and is due back in court next month.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of June 15 at a Love’s Travel Stop location in Kansas City. Scorpio was working as a security guard at the store at the time of the incident and said the victim lit a cigarette inside. The victim claims he put out the cigarette before entering the store, but it may not have been completely extinguished.

Scorpio allegedly confronted the man, which led to an argument. The argument continued outside the store, where the man attempted to wrestle with him, according to Scorpio.

Scorpio told police he pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the man multiple times in self-defense. When police arrived, the man was lying on the ground bleeding from multiple places, including his stomach, buttocks, legs, chest and head. Later that same day, police were able to speak with him at a local hospital. There, he claimed Scorpio was the attacker. However, details of his current condition have not been released.
