Man killed in car fire in Grady County

A man was killed when his car caught fire after hitting a tree in Grady County, according to OHP. OHP says the man was driving south on County Street 2785 just before 10:30 p.m. when he left the road and hit a tree, causing the car to catch fire. Both Chickasha Fire Department and EMS responded to the crash and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. OHP says the crash occurred 2.5 miles east and 1.5 miles north of the city of Verden in Grady County. The man’s identity has not yet been released and the cause of the crash is under investigation.

According to OHP, a man was killed when his car caught fire after hitting a tree in Grady County.

According to OHP, the man was driving south on County Street 2785 just before 10:30 p.m. when he left the road and struck a tree, causing his car to catch fire.

Both the Chickasha Fire Department and EMS responded to the accident and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to OHP, the accident occurred 2.5 miles east and 1.5 miles north of the city of Verden in Grady County.

The man’s identity has not yet been released and the cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
