SA Police provide update on ‘incident’ at Westfield’s Marion Shopping Centre in Adelaide

“Our team provided full support to the South African Police this afternoon when they were called to an incident at Westfield Marion,” a spokesman said.

“For a short period of time, the South African police had full control of the site.

“The South African police have now advised customers that they can leave the centre safely.

“We are not aware of any injuries.

“Westfield Marion closed today at 5pm in line with normal trading hours and will reopen for trading as usual tomorrow.”
