City of Waco reports on incident that left three people hospitalized at Mt. Carmel plant

WACO, Texas (KXXV) – The City of Waco is responding to an incident that occurred Thursday morning that left three employees at the Mt. Carmel Water Treatment Plant hospitalized.

At around 7:30 a.m., an emergency team was dispatched to the scene after an unconscious person was reported.

According to the city, three employees were affected by the incident. They received immediate medical attention and were taken to a hospital for further examination. There is no information about their current condition.

“Our concern is for the safety and well-being of our employees and the general safety of the public.
