Officials investigate after two people found dead in a north-central Iowa home

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating the deaths of two people at a rural home in Wright County in northern Iowa. According to a DCI news release, the sheriff’s office was notified around 9 a.m. Monday of a possible deceased person at a residence outside of Clarion. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of a deceased man and woman inside the home. Officers say this is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public. An autopsy will be conducted by the Iowa Office of the State Examiner. The Wright County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating the deaths of two people at a rural home in Wright County in north-central Iowa.

According to a DCI press release, the sheriff’s office was notified of a possible deceased person at a residence outside of Clarion around 9 a.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of a deceased man and woman inside the home.

According to official information, this is probably an isolated case and there is no danger to the population.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Iowa Office of the State Examiner. The deaths remain under investigation.
