Police in Lebanon search for suspect in connection with assault

Lebanon Police are investigating an incident at the Downtown Lounge on Cumberland Street. According to police, the victim, a bartender at the lounge, asked two people to leave the establishment due to their behavior. Police say as the bartender followed them out of the establishment, one person attacked the bartender and then both people fled on foot. The investigation led police to a local resident who knew both suspects, but police say they did not fully cooperate with police, delaying the investigation. Lebanon City Detectives continued their efforts to identify the two suspects from the incident. Police say officers were called to the 200 block of South Gannon Street around 3 p.m. Thursday, where one of the suspects is believed to live. While at that location, detectives had contact with that suspect and were able to confirm his identity and involvement. According to police, the second suspect jumped out a second-story window and escaped police. Police say a vehicle belonging to the second suspect was found on South Gannon Street. Police have identified the second suspect as Ricardo Berrios-Hernandez and have charged him with aggravated assault and obtained a warrant for his arrest. The investigation is continuing as there is a possibility that additional people will be charged. Anyone with information regarding the attack or the whereabouts of Ricardo Berrios-Hernandez is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Department or submit a tip through Crimewatch.

According to police, the bartender followed them out of the bar, whereupon one person attacked the bartender and both then fled on foot.

The investigation led the police to a local resident who knew both suspects. However, the local resident did not fully cooperate with the police and thus delayed the investigation, the police said.

Lebanon City Detectives continued their efforts to identify the two suspects in the incident.

According to police, officers were called around 3 p.m. Thursday to the 200 block of South Gannon Street, where one of the suspects is believed to have lived.

At this location, detectives made contact with the suspect and were able to confirm his identity and involvement.

According to police, the second suspect jumped out of a second-story window and fled from police.

According to police, a vehicle belonging to the second suspect was found on South Gannon Street.

Police have identified the second suspect as Ricardo Berrios-Hernandez, charged him with aggravated assault, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

The investigation is ongoing and there is a possibility that additional people will be charged.
