Severn man killed in Anne Arundel County shooting

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Maryland (DC News Now) — Anne Arundel County Police are looking for the person responsible for a shooting that took place Friday night in Severn.

Officers responded to the shooting shortly before 7:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of Meade Village Circle, where they found 34-year-old Keion McKinney of Severn suffering from gunshot wounds.

His death was pronounced at the scene.

Investigators believe McKinney left a row house and was shot by a man in the backyard. The suspect was apparently fleeing a targeted incident.
