When will the new Buffalo Wild Wings GO open in Cicero?

The most frequently asked question the Your Stories team received over the past week was about the return of Buffalo Wild Wings to Cicero.

Question: When will Buffalo Wild Wings GO open in Cicero?

This new restaurant opens its doors on Route 11, in the former Clips Sport. It is located across the street from Target and across the street from Walmart.

A spokesperson for Inspire Brands LLC, which owns Buffalo Wild Wings, said the Cicero GO location is expected to open later this month or early July.

This marks a return to Cicero for Buffalo Wild Wings. A full-service BWW restaurant was also located on Route 11 near the former OfficeMax. It closed in 2017.

What is a Buffalo Wild Wings “Go”?

GO, which focuses on takeout, is smaller than traditional Buffalo Wild Wings and offers a reduced menu.

“GO is a new takeout and delivery-focused model for Buffalo Wild Wings, designed to offer the brand’s award-winning chicken wings and 26 signature sauces and seasoning options, plus a few other fan favorites. The new location will also bring 25 full- and part-time jobs to the community” said an Inspire Brands spokesperson in a statement.

According to the company, there are more than 100 GO restaurants across the country. Not counting New York, this is the 3rd GO in the state.
