Ohio Turnpike to be closed on Tuesday

BEREA, Ohio (WJW) – A traffic alert for motorists using or planning to use the Ohio Turnpike on Tuesday.

The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission announced that it will “temporarily close” the westbound exit ramp at Toll Plaza 161 (Strongsville-Cleveland) at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, for maintenance.

The westbound exit ramp is scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12.

Toll officials explain that westbound traffic that normally exits at Toll Plaza 161 is asked to use Toll Plaza 173 (Cleveland) or Toll Plaza 152 (North Olmsted-Cleveland).
