9-year-old boy dead after being pulled from river in Tacony Creek – NBC10 Philadelphia

A young boy who was pulled from Tacony Creek was pronounced dead Sunday evening.

At around 6:10 p.m., police responded to reports of an unresponsive child in the water at 1100 East Wyoming Avenue, police said.

Paramedics arrived and at 7:18 p.m. the child was pronounced dead.

There is currently no further information about how the little boy ended up in the river.

The incident is currently under investigation.
