Dog attack in Noida housing society, pet bites minor girl

The menace of dog attacks continues unabated in housing societies as in the recent incident, a young girl was attacked by a dog in the elevator of a building in a posh Noida society.

The entire incident was captured by the close circuit camera (CCTV) installed in the elevator.

The video shows the girl in the elevator. As soon as the doors of a certain floor open, a brown dog runs into the elevator and bites the girl. The child was alone in the elevator when he was bitten by the dog.

A man, apparently the dog’s owner, follows the dog into the elevator and forces him outside so that no further harm will come to the minor.

As soon as the elevator door closes, the girl is seen holding her arm and writhing in pain.

The dog attack occurred at Lotus 300 Company in Sector 107, Noida.

The video of the incident, which occurred on May 3 and only came to light on Tuesday, is going viral on social media.

This came a day after a five-year-old girl suffered serious injuries after being attacked by two Rottweiler dogs at a park in Chennai.

The latest attack comes less than two months after the central government recommended a ban on several breeds of dogs, including Rottweiler, Pit Bull, American Bulldog and others, which are considered dangerous.

The center’s recommendation came in response to the alarming increase in serious and fatal attacks by dogs of these “dangerous” breeds.
