One dead in traffic accident in Adams County

EAST BERLIN BOROUGH, Pennsylvania (WHTM) – One person has died following an accident in Adams County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on June 1 at approximately 9:21 a.m., a Honda Civic was traveling westbound on West King Street when it crossed the double yellow line. The Civic was struck head-on by a Dodge 5500 and both vehicles came to a stop at the impact site.


The 33-year-old East Berliner who was driving the Civic died on the way to the hospital. The driver and passenger of the Dodge vehicle probably suffered minor injuries.

The name of the deceased will be announced after the next of kin has been notified.
