Two men arrested after drug raid in Wythe County

WYTHE COUNTY, Virginia. – Two men are behind bars following investigations into drug trafficking.

On Friday, the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office said it was attempting to arrest Cerrone Lee and Christian Crockett as part of an ongoing investigation.

The two did not stop at the police and began a chase through Wytheville.

Officers managed to stop the car on Railroad Avenue, where Crockett ran on foot, but he was later arrested along with Lee.

The following drugs were seized during the search:

  • 558 grams of methamphetamine

  • 58 grams of cocaine

  • 29 grams of mushrooms

  • A large quantity of fentanyl tablets

  • $4,139 in cash

Several charges are brought against Lee and Crockett:

  • Distribution of cocaine over 10 grams

  • Drug conspiracy 3 counts

  • Distribution of more than 100 grams of methamphetamine

  • Distribution of List 1 mushrooms

  • Evade

Officials said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected and additional charges may be filed.
