Woman arrested for drunk driving, allegedly kicked Toledo police officer

Kimbreyah Conyers crashed into a fire hydrant and was arrested for drunk driving. She is then alleged to have kicked a police officer in the stomach while in custody.

TOLEDO, Ohio – A 19-year-old woman was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with assault on a Toledo police officer.

According to a police report, the accident occurred at about 4:45 a.m. when Kimbreyah Conyers struck a fire hydrant at the intersection of Richards Road and Wickford Point Drive in west Toledo.

Conyers was arrested for drunk driving. While in custody, she allegedly kicked a police officer in the stomach.

The officer did not seek medical treatment.

Conyers was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation before being booked into the Lucas County Jail.
