Police arrest gunman wanted after carjacking in Bucks County – NBC10 Philadelphia

Bucks County police officers arrested a driver who was the victim of a carjacking in Warminster Township on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, officers arrested one of the suspected shooters – although the person’s identity has not yet been released – after a motorist reported he was held at gunpoint by two gunmen while sitting in his vehicle in the 200 block of E. County Line Road in Warminster Township.

Then, on Tuesday around 2:13 p.m., officials say, a vehicle involved in the robbery – a black Dodge Charger – was spotted traveling eastbound on Street Road near Bensalem at a high rate of speed.

Police arrived in the area and soon learned that a car matching the description of the stolen vehicle had been “dumped” near the intersection of Brown and Olga Avenues in the Eddington neighborhood of Bensalem.

Officials said a caller told police he saw two men flee after exiting the vehicle.

Officers found a man who they said matched the description of someone involved in the theft. He was arrested and taken to the Bensalem Police Department.

However, officials said the investigation revealed that there was no second suspect in the vehicle.

Officials said the man was arrested and the vehicle was towed to the Bensalem Police Department.
