THPD says shooting involving multiple injuries is under investigation | Local News

Terre Haute police are investigating a shooting early Tuesday that left several people injured.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1800 block of South Center Street around 12:25 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Those officers determined that several people had been injured by gunfire, THPD said in a news release.

The shooting remains under investigation and more information will be released as warranted, police said.

Police said they believed it was an isolated incident and there was no danger to the public.
