Laconia Police are searching for a person suspected of crime as part of an ongoing investigation

LACONIA – Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man described as a person of interest in an unspecified case, authorities said Friday.

Police Chief Matt Canfield of the Laconia Police Department issued the appeal this afternoon and asked the public to come forward with any information that could help identify the person. “We are trying to identify the male perpetrator, who is a suspect,” Canfield said.

The department did not release details about the circumstances of the investigation, but stressed the importance of community support.

They have provided the public with numerous opportunities to exchange information.
