Shooting in Tulsa neighborhood leaves man dead, police investigate

According to police, a man was killed after a fatal shooting in Tulsa on Thursday evening.

Tulsa police said it happened around 6 p.m. near Admiral and Harvard.

Police at the scene told News On 6 that two vehicles were involved before shots were fired.

“From what we have now determined, two vehicles were stopped, there was a conversation with someone on the street and then shots were fired,” said Captain Andrew Mackenzie of the Tulsa Police Department.

The TPD said there were multiple witnesses to the incident and that an investigation was underway into what led to the shooting.

There are currently no details about the suspect. The victim’s name has not been released.

The police said that this was an isolated incident and that there was no danger to the public.
