Boston police say missing Dorchester teen Jaize Shabazz-Fealy may be in the Providence, Rhode Island area – NBC Boston

A missing teenager from Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood may be in Rhode Island, police said Friday.

Police have been searching for 17-year-old Jaize Shabazz-Fealy, who was last seen in the area of ​​Melvin H. King South End Academy on Warren Avenue on Monday, May 6, around 2 p.m.

On Friday, Boston police said investigators learned Shabazz-Fealy may be with his family in the Providence area.

The teenager is described as being around 1.70 meters tall, weighing 75 kilograms and having a short Afro. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a Spider-Man graphic, black sweatpants with white lettering, and a gray/black backpack.

Shabazz-Fealy is known to frequent the Fields Corner area. According to police, he suffers from mental health problems.
