75-year-old pedestrian struck by truck in Yonkers and seriously injured

A 75-year-old woman was seriously injured this afternoon when she was struck by a truck on Palisade Avenue, Yonkers police told News 12.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not charged with any crime.

The woman, whose name was not released by police, is in critical condition at a hospital, police said.

The roadway was temporarily closed while police investigated the scene.
