Woman, 47, allegedly robbed and sexually abused

A 47-year-old woman was allegedly robbed and sexually assaulted by two men on Friday.

According to a police report, the victim was waiting for a taxi near Preysal flyover when a car stopped.

She got into the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle drove into a bushy area near Camden Base Road.

There, a man in the back seat pulled out a gun and took the woman’s purse.

He is said to have put a pillowcase over her head.

The victim was then taken to another location where she was allegedly sexually abused.

The investigation is ongoing.
