I am reaching out to all parents in Crown Heights to raise awareness of something serious that has happened to me.

I was shopping at the Atlantic Center Mall and was on my way to the checkout when a man came up to me and touched me inappropriately.

Mall security didn’t want to intervene, so I took out my phone and started filming.

Then I called the police and followed him so that the police could find and arrest this man.

They collected video footage. You have enough evidence to press charges.

I’m writing this because I feel like it’s very important for you to sit down with your children and explain to them what a predator is. You need to teach them that if they see something, say something and that if something happens to you, don’t be afraid or shy away from doing something about it.

There is no reason not to follow the perpetrator and the video and be sure to call 911, report the crime, and file a police report.

Since summer is approaching and many children will be playing outside in the park, it is very important that your children know what to do in this situation.
