Health Minister: 24 dead and many injured in landslides in India

At least 24 people were killed and “many” others injured in landslides in southern India in the early hours of Tuesday, Kerala state health minister Veena George told the Press Trust of India news agency.

“So far we have received 24 bodies in various hospitals, many of them injured,” said George. “Rescue operations are ongoing.”
