Two people found dead in Hanford home | YourCentralValley.com

HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Hanford Police officers said they found two people shot to death inside a Hanford home after receiving a call about a disturbance Sunday morning.

Hanford police believe the disturbance was a double homicide.

The incident occurred in the 400 block of East Magnolia Street, near George Washington Elementary School.

“When officers arrived on scene, they found the front door unlocked. They went inside and found two dead individuals, a man and a woman, inside the home,” said Lt. Justin Vallin of the Hanford Police Department.

According to Lt. Vallin, police are unsure who the caller was and the investigation is still in its early stages.

“We believe these are the residents of the house and will likely receive more information in the next day or two,” Lt. Vallin said.

The visibly angry neighbors described the man and woman as friendly.

According to Lt. Vallin, there are currently no suspects.

Police say there is no threat to the public at this time. If you have any information, please contact Hanford Police.
