Officers arrived at the area where the two vehicles collided shortly before 12:30 p.m. Two of the injured are in critical condition and two others are in serious condition, police said.

Police searched for hours for the driver of a vehicle involved in the accident after he fled the scene on foot. He was arrested on Sunday evening.
