Racism at school | Demands for suspension of students due to “slave auction”

CAPE TOWN – Racist bullying has reared its ugly head at a Cape Town school: Black students were forced into the role of slaves while their colored classmates made jokes about their selling prices.

Prices start at R100,000 and increase gradually.

The Western Cape Department of Education described the incident as hurtful and disturbing.

And some parents at Pinelands High are calling for the perpetrators to be suspended immediately.
