Racine Unified School District employee sentenced to two years in prison for sexually abusing student | Crime

RACINE, Wis. (WDJT) – A Racine Unified School District employee convicted of sexually assaulting a student has been sentenced to two years in prison, followed by nine months in the Racine County Jail.

Justin Lizama pleaded guilty to three of the four charges filed in May.

According to a criminal complaint, Lizama approached a 16-year-old girl after school and ordered her to get into his car. He allegedly took the student to his home and gave her marijuana before sexually abusing her.

The complaint states that Lizama was working as an event staff member at Case High School at the time.
